ADDITIONAL SERVICES

We offer Meth, Mold and Radon testing.

Why should I get a mold test?

Health Concerns: Mold can pose health risks, particularly for individuals with allergies, asthma, or compromised immune systems. Mold spores can become airborne and lead to respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and other health problems.

Identification of Mold Types: Different types of mold can have varying health impacts. A mold test can identify the specific types of mold present, helping you understand the potential health risks associated with them.
Why should I get a meth test?
Health and Safety: Methamphetamine (meth) residue can pose serious health risks to occupants, especially children and pets. Exposure to meth residue can lead to various health issues, including respiratory problems, skin irritation, and other adverse effects.

Peace of Mind: A meth test provides peace of mind to homeowners, buyers, and renters, knowing that the property is safe and free from meth contamination. It allows for informed decisions regarding occupancy and property management.

Why should I get a radon test?

Health Risks: Radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless radioactive gas that can seep into homes from the ground. Prolonged exposure to high levels of radon can increase the risk of lung cancer, making it a significant health concern.

Common Occurrence: Radon is a naturally occurring gas that can be found in varying levels in soil and rock. It can enter homes through cracks in the foundation, gaps in walls, and other openings, leading to potential exposure

Mold Testing:sporecyte

Mold can often remain hidden, silently affecting the air quality and structural integrity of a property. Our inspectors are trained to examine potential areas of mold growth, such as damp or poorly ventilated spaces. We take this aspect of our inspections seriously because we understand the potential health risks associated with mold exposure and the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy living environment.

Outdoor air samples are taken to establish a base for the air particulates that are in the air around the home.

Indoor air samples are taken and compared to the outdoor sample to determine the level of air particulates in the home that are higher than the outdoor reading.

Swabs are used to sample physical biological growths when present.

Tape is used to collect sample of a light surface biological growth

*Biological growths are possibly mold but cannot be identified as such until confirmed by a lab.

Three air samples are always taken one outdoor and two indoor. More air samples may be needed for larger homes. Swabs and tape samples are taken only when a visible biological growth is present and accessible.
